From start-to-finish, you will experience my authenticity, enthusiasm and a desire to exceed your expectations. You will have the opportunity to use my hand-tied custom flies and we will give you a shot at some beautiful trout!

No. My guided trips are catch, photo, and release only. That being said, there are times when the fish is injured during the battle and we must sacrifice him to the dinner table.

Not unless you want to. I will provide custom tied flies for the trip. However, if you have your own assortment you want to use, by all means bring them along to give them a try.

Depends. Ohio fishing license is not required on the Private water. If the trip includes public water fishing, a license will be needed.

No. My guided trips are fly fishing only. We can certainly introduce fly casting to a novice and get them to be able to cast well enough to successfully fish to and hook a beautiful trout. The landing of some of these monsters might prove to be the hard part.

No. We will provide any fishing gear needed with the exception of waders. Waders are not needed on the private water.

Appropriate clothing based on the weather is suggested. Some kind of headwear and polarized sunglasses are strongly suggested for performance and safety from errant flies.

Absolutely yes! We can always use an extra hand when it comes to encouragement and the landing of a trophy trout.

I have had the great opportunity and pleasure to successfully guide fly fisherman with many physical limitations. When we discuss the details of the trip, part of the discussion will be how we can safely and successfully provide a wonderful experience based on what limitations we will face for the day.

– GUIDED EXPERIENCES –

No matter your experience, I assure you, I will tailor to your skill level. I have guided ages ranging from 3 to 90 anywhere from novice to expert. I’m best equipped to guide groups of 1-3, however let’s discuss if you have more.

What’s Included:

We will provide rods, reels, line and nets. We will even supply custom hand-tied flies. If you are interested in a full day or weekend experience food is also included.
